A cross-pollination between seafood, community and agriculture for healthy island food systems. We are weaving a web of interconnections among fish harvesters, food security champions, farmers and their communities.

The Food Connections conference is a call to discovery, collaboration and action towards valuing fish as food.

The main conference day on Thursday, November 28 features:

  • Keynote presentation by Jon Crofts of Codfathers Seafood Market and Slow Fish Canada.
  • Break-out tour and presentation sessions, plenty of networking opportunities.
  • A delicious catered lunch featuring regional seafood delights

Plus options to extend your conference experience with a Networking Dinner on the 28th and tours of Walcan's processing facility and the Maritime Heritage Centre exhibits on the 29th.
